I'm a men's barber, a small-town Texas girl, and the owner of a brand-new salon built from grit, faith, and a whole lot of winging it. I've been in the grooming game for 13 years, working everywhere from commercial shops to booth rentals while bouncing through four cities for my husband's career. He handles the business and legal headaches. I handle the hair — and the chaos.
Amber Uncut is where I get to be real. No filter. No corporate talk. No pretending I've got life perfectly organized. It's the stories, the lessons, the laughs, the rants, and all the perfectly imperfect moments that make this journey mine.
Family is my heartbeat. I've got three kids — two grown, and one who thinks she is. My momma is still my daily call, even from another city, and we usually end up laughing about her husband, BooBoo… my “Boob.” And then there's my own husband — the man I love, the man I sometimes have to mom, and the man I can't imagine doing life without.
Life hasn't always been easy, but God has blessed me more than I can count. I'm learning to keep that truth front and center while I grow, learn, and build confidence out loud.
